Justin Bieber Is On Top Of The World (Or At Least On Top Of New York)
Friday, October 9, 2009
Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
It wouldn't be inaccurate to say that Justin Bieber is on top of the world at the moment. The 15-year-old singer already has two massive hits on his hands (in "One Time" and "One Less Lonely Girl") and counts Usher as his professional mentor. He's going to be singing on NBC's morning show "Today" next week, but he's already made a few stops in Manhattan (where he was last seen at the MTV Video Music Awards). Bieber headed up to the observation deck of the Empire State Building for a quick snapshot yesterday (October 8), just after dropping in on "Today" for a quick preview of his Monday performance.
Bieber wasn't the only one taking care of business in the Big Apple yesterday. Jon Gosselin was spotted outside of his New York apartment (minus Kate or the Eight, of course) and Paris Hilton headed to a bowling alley to spend some quality time with a chimp. (No, seriously!) Click here for these pictures, as well as the entire "Spotted!" archive, which features over 300 candid shots of Britney Spears, Jay-Z, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Shakira and the casts of "Gossip Girl" and "New Moon"!
