Opera star Gabriela Pochinki has been handed a summons for alleged contact at the Nice Martin in the Lucerne Hotel. Gabriela Pochinki summons resulted in the opera star appearing in a New York court Friday.
Gabriela Pochinki was staying at The Lucerne Hotel. On Sunday afternoon, Pochinki and her daughter were dining in the hotel’s Nice Martin restaurant. There, restaurant guests complained that Pochinki and daughter were “yelling” into their cellphone.
Even worse, they were allegedly doing this on speakerphone!
At that point, Jeanette Josue, 30, one of the managers, reportedly came over to Pochinki and politely told Pochinki and daughter to be more quiet. Josue says Pochinki gave her “lip and a dismissive wave”. Described as “snipppy”, Pochinki then allegedly told the manager that she should leave.
“Get out of here. I’m not leaving,” allegedly exclaimed Pochinki.
Josue had enough and asked Pochinkiand her daughter to leave, not once, but four times.
It’s at that point that Gabriella is accused of pushing the manager. “She really shoved her. She pushed her away, even as she turned away” said a witness. Police gave Gabriela Pochinki a summons for criminal trespass.
