ESPN Analyst Affair Scandal: Restraining Order and Divorce Papers

Friday, October 23, 2009

In new court papers obtained by ET, Brooke Hundley, the purported mistress of ESPN analyst Steve Phillips, alleges that he coerced her into a relationship.

ET has obtained the restraining order sought by Hundley after she says she was harassed by Phillips.

The handwritten complaint states, in part: "Steve bought me a strong drink and then cornered me while coming out of the bathroom with no one in sight trying to persuade me to come to his hotel suite to spend the night."

Hundley also alleges that he persisted by calling and texting her "with inappropriate things." At one point, she writes, "Finally I gave in and agreed to see him a few times in parking lots ... then he began to spread word that I was just the office slut."

In the document, she requests that he refrain from having any contact with her, threatening her, physically restraining her or entering her residence.

ET has also obtained divorce papers between Phillips and his wife Marni. According to the papers filed on September 2 in Connecticut, Marni filed for divorce citing that "the marriage has broken down irretrievably." She asked for custody of the couple's four children, child support, alimony, attorneys fees, educational support, and more. Click here to see the papers.
