Aeros Host Monsters Tonight At Toyota Center

This is the first meeting of the season between the Aeros and Monsters. The Aeros are 6-2-0-0 all-time vs. Lake Erie, including a 3-1-0-0 record at home. Lake Erie defeated Houston 3-0 on April 4 in front of 9,139 at Quicken Loans Arena in the last matchup between the two teams. The Aeros and Monsters rank first and second in the AHL in shots per game against, the Aeros lead the league at just 23.8 shots per game with the Monsters second at 24.6. Aeros Update: RW J.M. Daoust leads the Aeros with four points (1-3=4) and is tied for first on the team with three assists (D Maxim Noreau). C Peter Zingoni leads the team with three goals. Sixteen skaters on the Aeros roster have recorded at least one point so far this season. G Anton Khudobin is 3-1-0 on the season with a 2.45 GAA and .904 SV%. Khudobin allowed four goals in Saturday's loss to the Stars before being replaced by G Wade Dubielewicz. Dubielewicz made three saves in 21:05 of action and is 0-2-0 on the season with a 3.09 GAA and .854 SV%. Aeros Head Coach Kevin Constantine is eight games from his 1,100 career regular season game. He has a 565-395-114-18 record and has coached in the USHL, IHL, WHL, AHL and Monster's Update: LW Chris Durno currently leads Lake Erie with four goals and seven points (4-3=7). RW Darren Haydar leads the Monsters with four assists. G Trevor Cann made 24 saves in the shutout last night and improved to 1-1-0 on the season with a 2.01 GAA and .907 SV%. The Aeros (3-3-0-0) host the Lake Erie Monsters (3-4-0-0) tonight, 7:05 PM at Toyota Center. It is the fifth and final home game of a season-long five-game homestand in which the Aeros have posted a 2-2-0-0 record. Lake Erie comes to town tonight after a 4-0 victory against the Texas Stars last night in Cedar Park.
