John Allen Muhammad Execution

Despite many appeals from his attorneys, John Allen Muhammad Execution implemented as per schedule on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. DC sniper John Allen Muhammad, who killed 10 people and terrorized many U.S. cities, was executed through lethal injection. The victims’ families watched the execution.

Finally a terror chapter has been closed forever with the death of its main character, John Allen Muhammad who has been executed last night in a Virginia prison through a lethal injection while the members of the victims’ families watched. Allen John Muhammad was 48-year-old (December 31, 1960 born) when executed through Capital Punishment.

In the year 2002 with the help of a teenage partner Lee Boyd Malvo, New Orleans, Louisiana born John Allen Muhammad carried out his terrorist activities and in Beltway sniper attacks, at least 10 people lost their lives. The local residents of Virginia, Maryland and Washington were extremely tense until October 24, 2002 when the Muhammad and Malvo duo was arrested and convicted of innocent killings.

As per information collected after his arrest it revealed that Born John Allen Williams, Muhammad had changed his surname to Muhammad after he joined the Nation of Islam in the 1987. Later he befriended the then teenaged Lee Boyd Malvo and ‘utilized’ him in the horrid shooting sprees. Malvo is also serving multiple life sentences.

Muhammad, however, denied all the allegations since his arrest in 2002 and kept on claiming that he was targeted merely for being black and that there was no role on his part in the sniper attacks or in the killing of 10 innocent people. However, a number of appeals by his attorneys were turned down and last night he was injected a lethal medicine and John Allen Muhammad died in the presence of several relatives of the victims that suffered in the fatal sniper attacks.
