Voter Information Available At EC Website

PORT DICKSON, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- Voters in the Bagan Pinang state constituency can check their status on the Election Commission (EC) website, short messaging service (SMS) or from the Negeri Sembilan election operations room.

EC secretary Datuk Ngah Senik said the public can obtain voter registration details such as polling centre, voter channel number and serial number using one of the three methods.

"The public can visit the EC's official website at www.spr.gov.my. We have also provided SMS facilities for them to get the information.

"The SMS service will operate until polling day. To use this service, type SPR IC number and send to 15888," he said during a briefing to media personnel covering the Bagan Pinang by-election, here Thursday.

Ngah said voters can also contact the Election Operations Room during office hours at 06-7639975, from today until Oct 9.
