My Antonio' Finale: And the Winner Is...

My Antonio officially wrapped up after 10 episodes now that Antonio Sabato Jr. finally found his match. After sending home ex-wife Tully, who by the way was wearing a wedding dress during last week's elimination ceremony, it was down to Brooke Barlow, the beautiful and athletic nurse, and Miranda Reinfeldt, the cute and bubbly makeup artist.

In My Antonio's finale, Brooke and Miranda went to great lengths to prove them worthy of Antonio's love. But in the end, Antonio, along with mother Yvonne, predictably chose Brooke as the winner.



Unfortunately, My Antonio's success rate when it comes to off-cam relationships is no different from other reality dating series. Evidently, Brooke, who demanded a contract before she commits to a monogamous relationship, and Antonio are no longer together.

"I am not in touch with Antonio. We haven't spoken in two, three months," Brooke told VH1 following the finale of My Antonio. "We put effort into it. I met his children... We had a great time -- as good of a time as you could have indoors with no outside contact. It was really nice getting to know him and his children."

"When you put two people together...there has to be a lot of conversation and a deep, spiritual connection as far as establishing a foundation for a relationship. He thought that should come with time, but to me, I just felt like we didn't have much to talk about," she revealed.

Meanwhile, Brooke is optimistic that more opportunities will come her way because of her exposure on My Antonio.

"Had the relationship worked out, I wouldn't have cared about parlaying it into exposure and opportunities. But since it didn't, I'm hoping the exposure will enable me to have other work," Brooke said.
