Kansas City Marathon 2009 Results!

Results are coming in for the 2009 Kansas City Marathon. The 2009 Kansas City Marathon features a half marathon, kids marathon and more.

Line up in order of start times today include 6:55 AM Wheelchairs, 7:00 AM Marathon, Half, Relay and 5K, and 11:30 AM Kids’ Marathon. Your Honorary Community Chair is Danny Clinkscale of Sports Radio 810 WHB. The Post Race Food Court is presented by Husch Blackwell Sanders and Liberty Fruit Company.

Says organizers:

“The finish line chute will take runners through several stations (water, medical, medals, pictures, Post-Race Food Court) before an exit into the Finish Line Festival area to reunite with family and friends. Note: runners will be able to re-enter the chute for food. All runners will be given a pre-packed bag with food items.”

The Finish Line Festival is presented by Boulevard Brewing Company and Kansas City Chartered Financial Analyst Society. “The Finish Line Festival will feature food, beverages and entertainment. There will be a large shaded tent, plenty of food and drink for the runners, and entertainment for all! The Finish Line Festival ends at 2 p.m.”
