New doubts have arisen, asking whether or not the Balloon Boy incident was a hoax or not -- due to Falcon Heene saying "We did this for the show" during an interview with Wolf Blitzer on Larry King Live on Thursday.

In the below video, Richard explains that 6-year-old Falcon Heene was referring to a time later in the day, when the boy was reenacting how he hid in the garage of his family's home in Fort Collins, Colorado -- and that one of the cameramen told Falcon they were recording that video footage for a show.

An exhausted Richard Heene told Meredith Vieira that he yelled at Falcon earlier in the day for climbing into the flying-saucer-shaped balloon -- and that's why Falcon hid.

"Thank you for all the support, all the positive prayers that were out there," Richard said after reconvening after a pause in the Today Show interview, because Falcon threw up.

"It was a horrible, horrible moment for me -- and my wife as well," Richard Heene said. "I really don't want to live that moment again."
