NFL Week 4 Picks Are Particularly Difficult

Wednesday, September 30, 2009

week 4 picks also center around a series of revealing games other than the circus in Minnesota. Though everyone will have opinions and picks around Brett Favre facing the Packers, NFL week 4 picks are certain to be split on many other key match ups.

Before the NFL week 4 gets to the Vikings vs Packers, there are still 13 games on Sunday to get through. The NFL week 4 picks for some of those games look pretty obvious. Games like the Giants vs Chiefs, Colts vs Seahawks, Bears vs Lions, and Bengals vs Browns all have obvious favorites, and will be picked to be blowout games.

However, it is much harder to make NFL week 4 picks about the big matches on Sunday, of which there are many. Picking football games this year has been very hard this season already, especially in college football. But some of the NFL week 4 will be very revealing for some aspiring contenders, and as such, may be pretty unpredictable - and a bit risky for gamblers.

The big games are late in the day, as the 3-0 Jets and 3-0 Saints meet in New Orleans, the 3-0 Broncos host the Cowboys, and the 1-2 Steelers host the Chargers. Bets and predictions for the Jets and Saints game are sure to be high, as Mark Sanchez goes for his biggest win yet by trying to outgun Drew Brees and the Saints.

NFL week 4 picks are still likely to favor the Saints in that one, given how explosive New Orleans has been, and how the Jets are going on the road. But the Jets have made a habit of defying picks, as they did against the Patriots in week 2.

The Broncos game against the Cowboys is even harder, as the Broncos are 3-0, but haven't played anyone until now. Yet the Cowboys have also been pretty unimpressive this year, and may have a hard time playing in Denver.
