Auburn has featured a well-balanced offense all season long and they did the same against the Volunteers, posting 235 pass yards and 224 yards on the ground.

He completed 19-of-32 passes against Tennessee for 218 yards and one touchdown, bringing his 2009 passer rating to a stellar 160.81.

The Tigers overall performance clearly left an impression on the typically uncouth Volunteers coach, Lane Kiffin.

Arkansas improved to 2-2 last weekend, dismantling former Southwest Conference rival Texas A&M 47-19 at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Arkansas also spotted the Aggies a 10 point first quarter lead. However, big plays (an 85 yard fumble return and a 62 yard touchdown run) enabled Bobby Petrino's squad to get the easy win.

Quarterback Ryan Mallet bounced back from a rough outing against the Crimson Tide as he completed 17-of-27 passes for 271 yards, four touchdowns and an interception. It was the second time in the last three games that Mallet has tossed at least four touchdown passes.
